On April 21, 2017, the City of Canton Police Department was
notified of an ongoing investigation of money being continuously withdrawn from
the Cherokee High School Drama Booster Club without authorization.
Upon investigation, it was discovered that Michelle Renee
Adas withdrew monies from the Booster Club financial accounts without
authorization through debit and checking accounts. Adas made the continuous
withdraws from October 14, 2015 to February 28, 2017. In total, Adas withdrew
$5,260.08 for her own personal gain. Warrants have been secured for Adas’
arrest at this time.
