Canton units are currently on scene of a person shot at 204
Alpine Street. Just before 2:30 am.,
Officers were dispatched to the above location and upon arrival found a 16 year
old, white male victim on a living room couch with an apparent gunshot wound to
his chest area. At this time, Officers
and Detectives are working the crime scene, obtaining witness statements and
securing a search warrant for the residence.
We are working to identify a suspect as well in the crime.
The young victim has been transported to Northside Cherokee
Hospital and his condition is not known at this time.
